Amico Industrial Group started its industrial production activity in 1989 with the establishment of Azar Motor Industrial Company and the global registration of the Azar Motor Industrial CO brand with the abbreviation AMICO in Jolfa region (the border between Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Turkey).

Aras Khodro Diesel Company, the largest production company of the Amico Group, can produce all kinds of commercial and passenger cars by using technical and committed human resources and having the latest technology in the field of automobile production and assembly. Through the use of the parts and technology of the top European, American, and Asian brands, this company has placed its products among reputable European cars in terms of quality, safety, and emission levels. Furthermore, TUV, VCA, and the Environmental Organization of Iran have certified this company's dual fuel products (petrol and CNG) as meeting emission standards.

Besides receiving Iran's standard sign and registering it on all its manufactured products, Amico has established well-equipped and advanced laboratories capable of testing products, maintaining quality, and ensuring compliance with world-class standards. In addition, Amico has the certificate of Accreditation partner laboratory from the Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran. Therefore, Amico also can issue standard certificates for other manufacturers.

  By establishing more than 55 after-sales service centers in most provinces of Iran, providing them with periodic technical and professional training, and increasing the product warranty period (from 30,000 km to 200,000 km and from one year to three years for diesel vehicles and from 30,000 to 40,000 km and from one year to two years for petro automobiles), has been able to provide acceptable services to its customers.

Also, Amico has established practical training centers equipped with educational facilities and tools, as well as technical training in the field of repairs and maintenance of vehicles in its complex, as an effective action to improve the quality of products and services and increase the level of knowledge and expertise of its employees and after-sales service agents.
