Aras Khodro Diesel Company (AMICO) has been producing Light, semi-heavy, and heavy commercial vehicles since the beginning of 2016, producing two types of double-cabin and single-cabin Euro 5 Pickup trucks with european vehicle's emissions standard. In terms of performance and quality, it is comparable to Japanese pickups in the Iranian market.

 It is expected that due to the reasonable price and quality, Amico cars will soon replace the Japanese cars in this class. Operational tests conducted by some organizations and consumer organizations of this type of pickup confirm that Amico pickups can be competitive and replaced with Japanese ones in Iran.

Sadeghian, who has the CEO of Bonyan Diesel and Iran Khodro in Tabriz in his management portfolio as the new CEO of Aras Khodro Diesel (Amico), said:

A Dump truck production program with a capacity of 70 tons to 100 tons is also under production due to the country's industries and mines, in addition to the mass production of pickups. So it is expected that a new product of super heavy trucks will be introduced to the country's mining market by the end of this year.

The Amico brand of Azar Motor Industrial Company is registered as a national brand in 32 countries. It started its activity in the automobile industry (tractors and motorcycles) about three decades ago. Amico officially started producing all kinds of autos (vans, trucks, and tractors) ten years ago, and so far, about 30,000 vehicles from this company have gone to domestic and foreign markets. Amico has carefully selected the components of its cars from world-renowned manufacturers, and no accident has been registered in the country's police accident system due to the lack of safety or the use of low-quality parts in Amico's products.

All pick-up manufacturers in China must obtain only 55 types of Chinese CCC standards, while the Amico pick-up, as the first Iranian car, was able to get the certificate of European emission standards from the German TUV institute due to its high quality.

As a result, Amico pickups can be exported to the European Union, while so far, no car in Iran has been able to obtain the 88 standards. But all the pickups assembled in Iran and even those imported from Japan have only 55 standards so far. Sadeghian continued: There are no dual-fuel (CNG) pickups on the Chinese market yet, while Amico pickups come with advanced CNG fueling systems and equipment, which have been certified by the TUV Institute.

Neither Chinese nor Japanese pickups are equipped with an automatic mechanical differential lock (Differ. Look). The only American pickups with this type of differential lock are Ford, Chevrolets, and the Amico pickup in Iran.

According to him, Amico's pickups have four stages of shock absorbers in the front for the safety of passengers, unlike Chinese and Japanese pickups. Sadeghian added: Imported and assembled Chinese pickups are all based on the Euro 4 standard, while Amico pickups are made with a Euro 5 standard and can be upgraded to a Euro 6.

In the end, he emphasized: We can claim that we have applied a lot of precision and skill in choosing the quality of parts to increase the quality, and we have chosen the best famous parts manufacturers worldwide and their technology.

All the equipment and comforts of the Amico's car are the same as the world's first-class pickups. However, in terms of comfort, soft Suspensions, ample cabin space, and large cargo room, it provides better and more comfort for the passengers than the Japanese pickups available in the market.
